32MB DDR video memory
40GB Ultra ATA hard drive
Combo Drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)
Built-in AirPort Extreme
Built-in Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
Scrolling Trackpad
Sudden Motion Sensor

however, i want to add extra 512 MB ram by myself.

what kind of RAM should I buy?SODIMM??

go for a vendor that guarantees compatibility or w/ a stick that is well reviewed by apple notebooks users like the newegg one.

A couple B&M retailers have some good sales this week.

Micro Center is selling a 512mb patriot brand pc2700 so-dimm for $49.99 up front. They also have a $20.00 mail in rebate, so cost after the rebate would be around $30-$33.

Circuit city will price-match Best Buy's on sale Kingston 512mb PC2700 sodimm valueram to $52.50 or so. They are also running $30.00 in mail in rebates this week. So total cost after rebates and tax is around $25.00! I went with this deal and the kingston ram is running great in my ibook 1.33ghz 12".
