I would definitely recommend the 9300 to anyone looking for a high quality laptop. My main suggestion would be to get the 128MB x300 video card unless you're really into gaming, since the 6800 go eats up a lot of battery life. I can go for 4 hours unplugged with wifi and bluetooth on and active (with a 9cell battery). That would be cut severely with the 6800.
