Basically my original quote was £1680, I haggled and was offered all the above in blue for an extra £100. Accidental damage cover on its own was originally £120+VAT without the Theft cover. Think I got a good deal. Especially as the M70 price has shot up around £300 today. New my old sales skills would come in handy!!

I aint singing no blues tonight!! Me is very happy

Also wanted to add for anyone searching for feedback on service. So far I have recieved great service, no sales pressure to buy things I didn't need. I write this because most people only post negative experiences.

Will do. I'm currently doing an Online Maya class and have started a degree in games design. So Ill post back with some impressions of the system. If I get chance I'll post some screen photos.

Where are you taking the Maya class? I've been looking for a nice, thorough class on mental ray, but they're kind of hard to find. Anyway, I'm sure you'll love the laptop. It runs Maya flawlessly, and the screen is brilliant for CAD work. Let me know how the class goes.

Hi

online at 3D Buzz 3dBuzz

Stop by the community its awesome - tons of tutorials on 3D, Game editors, programming etc - tons of free stuff, some for site sponsors only and now the classes. Best site around bar none!

They've stopped the Fundamentals Maya Class (by no means basic - takes you from A-Z) class for now. You can buy the class DVDs (82 hours of content - you'll be amazed by the price - you won't get more info for your money anywhere including many schools). May be running another soon.

You have a online class where you upload assignments and they are graded with feedback via video to you.

They are running an advanced maya modelling class in the near future. WILL BE AWESOME! Probably others in future for Max,Houdini, etc.
