LED's in alien eyes

My eyes on the cover are partially out. Does anyone know how to replace the LED's without damaging the system?

Wow... wth did you do? Led's are beasts... under my car with the snow and all the rape they take... they still work... now LED's in a top notch AW laptop should be just as strong... *at your own risk* hmn open the screen cover and check the wiring connections, if it's good then call AW support and talk to them or e-mail them.

Good luck...

carefully pull the LED out and put it back in the other way. Worked for me with my desktop

Freak

wait what do you mean parshily out?

by partially out i think he means not as bright. so you guys are on the right track.

If that is the case. I would just pop the Alien head off and just pull the led out and put a new one in. if it doesn’t light up. Flip it around and if it still parsley lit that’s not the problem. That’s what I would do on a desktop note I am not to shore if the head just pops off on a labby you might want to look into that.

Freak,

parsley - noun - a green plant commonly used to visually decorate a plate of food.

partially - adv - means "to some extent"

so which one is it? do you have a sprig of green leaf growing out of your system?

what i meant was that only one of the 6 led's are out, the one in the middle.
My laptop is no longer under warranty and alienware wants to charge me more than 300 bucks for repairs, which is not going to happen for one light.

wow, those lights better be made out of gold for a $300 repair bill
