what file types does musicmatch work with? is it WMA or MP3? i'm assuming i u bought your tracks from online u'll have DRM to deal with. iTunes will try and convert any WMA songs u have, but if they are copyright protected it won't be able to. one of the first things i do w/ my purchased music is to burn it to a CD-RW and then rip it into a non-DRM format. that way, it's MINE.

if all u have is copyright protected stuff that will only work w/ WMA compatible MP3 players u may need to look around for utilities that might be able to remove the copyright protection w/o having to go thru all the trouble of burning and re-ripping your stuff to be in MP3 or AAC format. Offhand, I'm not sure what those would be so it's up to you.

Found this over at Neowin...People slavering to get Apple's "impossibly small" iPod Nano into their sticky hands may want to pause a moment: those ahead of them in the queue have discovered that it's also unbelievably easy to scratch the screen, nixing its photo-displaying abilities. Apple's discussion forums are already host to a 188-post thread on the topic, where people have spotted that the plastic used for the screen and front of the product is as sensitive as a Kate Moss sponsor.

Trouble is that a few scratches will quickly make the color screen all but useless for viewing album art and photos stored on the machine. In which case you might as well have bought the cheaper, screen less iPod shuffle, hmm? When the point was put to the head of Apple's iPod division, Jon Rubenstein - who in the past oversaw the development of the Titanium PowerBook - the one that killed off Wi-Fi reception, because metal cages do that - he replied: "Nah, you don't really think that? It's made of the hardest polycarbonate... You keep it in a pocket with your keys?"

I found this, not sure how well it protects it but they do have a video that demonstrates its toughness.

i am a stickler with keeping my techy stuff in top shape. My psp looks just as new as when I got it march 24th at midnight. I can honestly say this is super fragile. I had my black nano for 24 hours and the screen got numerous scuff marks on it. I did not put the nano in my pocket, drop it, or anything. I used a micro fiber cloth to clean it, and then at night i had it laying on top of my chest while I was listening to tunes in bed. I then placed it on top of a cotton t-shirt before i went to sleep. The metal backing was touching the t-shirt. I have no idea what happened, but the next day is when I saw the scuff marks. Maybe a pillow fell on top of it during the night?! lol that is the only thing i can think of. Needless to say I took it back the next day and just brought home a white one. I believe those dont show scratches as much on the paint, and I will just have to keep the plastic on until the skins and screen protectors come about. I am impressed overall, but this thing WILL get scratched badly if you plan on working out with it, putting it in your pocket, etc.
