I have been using my IBM T42 alot lately and I cant seem to get over 2 hours on the battery life. Now my Asus Z70V can easily get 3.5 hours using heavy apps and on high performance. I would think the Ibm can get around the same length of time??Is there any programs or settings I can change to fix this problem? Incase you need to know the system specs are
1.5GB ram
1.7GHZ processor
14'' monitor
40gb HD with about 15Gbs used

They are known for taking care of their customers. If theres something wrong with it they'll fix it or ship you out a new battery, plus they can tell what exact model of battery you need to buy should you choose to buy a new one.
