Brightness issues on i9300

Okay, the brightness levels with the smiling sun dude. I change them from all the way down to up, and I don't notice a difference at all. Should'nt there be a difference with every level, because I'm getting nothing! Screen stays the same.

Smiling sun dude? Use Fn + up/down arrows.

He meant that it has no effect when using the control you mentioned.
SSJiffy, this is probably cause by the BIOS system, obviously not the QuickSet because you can still able to set volume and brightness without QuickSet.

Sorry, but I must have missed his reference to the Fn key. Because he never made one, perhaps?

Just wondering if he knows to use Fn in conjunction with the "smiling sun dude."

Lol, yeah I know. I'm going to go check the BIOS now...I havent updated my drivers with Dell's latest so maybe...?
