Sending Asus Z70v back....

Well, I couldnt resolve the issue with the SD card deciding to sometimes work, but most times not. Z70v is going back for an exchange, hopefully the new one is perfect

You know, I've never had a problem with this in either the returned Z71V or the Z70Va... it seems like some people have Ricoh media readers that simply don't like them.

wow seems like alot of people are having problems with this and other things with the Asus.
Is your fan very loud?

Where do you get your info from. Out of all the brands asus is the least problematic especially so if you take into account that these forums are here for people who have problems for the most part and also asus has 14 laptops to choose from. What brand are you comparing to?

I havent noticed much of a problematic trend with Asus, at least the light the forums shed on Asus. Check the Gateway forum if you want to see problems

ah, I have this problem as well! But it is only with SD cards, with MS and MMC it works fine

Well just a general trend i thought i noticed. Your probalby right though, its probably not as bad as it appears. But my friend also recently received his Refresh and he has the same problem with the SD card, plus his fan is extremely loud. I have an old desktop with an AMD xp 1900+, and his fan is much more audbible then mine.
