The original screen protector comes in handy when transporting the Acer around. plus when at home I don't get dust in between the keys.

I had only a phone to take the shots. You can see the screen and keyboard, my TM 8202 "Belafonte", an iPAQ hx4700 "PocketLucky II" and my old faithful toshiba A25-S207 "Summermute". Also in the other pic: a ProLiant ML150 Server that goes by the name of "El Piporro" with keyboard, mouse and a very old 15" CRT display.

It really is a cheap fabric like material -i don't know its name- and i believe it was meant to be disposed with the packaging yet i still keep mine. You can make one for yourself easily by buying some cloth or some material you like and cutting it with an xacto knife or scissors to match the dimensions of your lap.

Dizamn, didn't notice how dirty it is around there, i got like a cubby full of post-it's and hydroxycut hardcore supplements..lol and toliet paper, cuz i had a cold, and ran outta tissue..Who's Ghett-O Fabolous???? the keyboard has soft squishy laptop keys, so it's easier to switch between the too, the arrangement is identical. plus, i usually work in the wee hours of the evening only thing in the room is the glow of the tv on history channel, i'am trying to get my learn on..

this is what's in my office, god forbid i go into the spare room and open the closet, it's like 89 degree's in the room, alotta extra computers, set up for testing and etc, i got took a d-link KDE switch and made extensions for them and ran them thru the vent system so it's all hidden, as i can't stand the warmth in that room,

Sorry for the delay in replying. It's OfficeMax. I'll look up the model. Faux cherry wood I believe. We have quite a few components. Very solid (and heavy) stuff.
