It's nice that he admitted that resolution was for an external monitor....but i still can't believe he wants people to believe it's an FX-51 processor. That's just ridiculous.
It's not like you could just say "Ok lets just stick the fx-51 in here instead of the 3200+." It would require completely modifying the mobo, since the two cpu's require different sockets, something i think this company is completely uncapable of.
To try and clarify things a bit, michaels uses the same ODM notebook as hypersonic and voodoo. They don't get some special mobo designed just for them. This notebook uses the athlon 64 mobile, not the fx-51. To modify the mobo to use the FX-51 would take ATLEAST(i don't know everything it would take, but atleast these things) changing the chipset, socket, bios, and probably some changes to the board itself. This would require a HUGE remanufaturing process, if not construction of a whole new motherboard itself, which takes a lot of VERY expensive machinery.
It is POSSIBLE that they've made some kind of adapter(although you'd think there would be some news about this SOMEWHERE) to fit the fx-51, but in a laptop? The adapter would need an almost INVISIBLE footprint(size) to fit. Otherwise there would a a monstrous bulge in the bottom of the case to account for it.
I'm not even gonna get into the heat/power issues they would run into with the fx-51 which is NOT a mobile chip and does NOT have powernow so therefore does NOT have any clockthrottling capabilities.
Still, i wish you luck MEDDUDE, and i hope your computer is everything HYPERDATA, HYPERSONIC, and VOODOO say it is(not Michaels).
