OMFG!! I turned on my computer and My I tunes library was empty, not a single song this is crazy considering I had about 500 songs in it. So now when I try to update my Ipod It says it is a diffrent library and the only way to update is too completely wipe my ipod's current playlists and start again. Does anyone know what might of happened and is there away to export my Ipods playlists to Itunes? I reallt dont want to have to start over.

Set windows explorer to show hidden files, and set the ipod to disk mode. Navigate to it, youll see a folder that looks translucent. Click it, then you'll see three folders. I think you go to ipod control, then have a look in the folders in there. Your music will be in folders that are named F01, F02 and so on.

If you want to be able to connect your ipod without it trying to wipe it, set the iPod to manually update files and playlists.

then get XPlay 2 and stop using iTunes. Costs $19.99, but it's worth it. iTunes sucks IMO..
