Amilo M3438

1.I'm from Germany and interested in the Amilo M3438 Notebook.
On one page they wrote about a new revision of the M3438 which should be avilable at the end of this month. Someone who knows anything about this? Is it worth to wait for it?

2. From the Fujitsu Datasheet about the Displays:
3438:
- Crystal View
- Wide View
- High brightness
4438:
- Crystal View
- Wide View

Is the 3438 a better chose if i want a good bright display?

Hi, I am a proud owner of FS 3438 2.0 GHz, 1024 MB, 160 GB in Raid, GF Go 6800 256 MB.
About my Didsplay I do think It is briliant, crisp pictures and the colors. The angle of the view is incredible.
I just love it. Watching DVD it is much better trough Laptop than on the TV.

Yeah, I have seen already the display from the 3438.
But I'm wonder if the 4438 (with higher resolution) has the same brightness level.
The 4438 has no "High brightness" in the features list.

I have tried the 3438 for some time now, and I own a 4438. I think they are basically the same screen with different resolutions. I belive the brightness are close to equal.

I have had the 3438 since 2 days ago and it is very very good and shines especially in games for example I can run Counter Strike Source at max settings and max AA with 100~ fps. However although in games the visuals are amazing I have found that some of the colours do not show up well. For example when I check hotmail or some sites colours blend it so it makes it hard to tell which are new posts and which are old... unless you obviously look at the icon itself.

But otherwise this laptops is great.
