8890 for sale

I am looking to sell my 8890. Is warrantied thru 3/17/06. Was purchased from PC Torque. Has 16.1" UXGA LCD, 3.06GHZ P4/533 FSB, ATI 9600 {M10}, 1024MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM, two 40GB 5400RPM in raid 0, Toshiba DVD/24x10x24 CDRW combo drive, Windows XP Professional, internal floppy drive, 2 AC power adapters, detachable MP3 player, NTSC TV Tuner and remote.

Was purchased in 3/03 as 8887V, and in 9/03 I had Sager replace with a 8890 mainboard. The computer is in very good condition except the battery won't take a charge but as noted above I have 2 AC power adapters.

Asking $1200. Selling this computer as my son needs a lighter computer to carry around college.

I have the same laptop and would like to know some features about the avermedia tv tuner.
Does it work with the latest AverTV 5.x software to capture real time vcd, svcd and dvd quality??
Can you give me the part number or exact model -a picture would be great too- so I can find reviews or specifications?
Are you interested in sellig it to me? Maybe we can reach an agreement.
I live in Spain, but I think it could fit into a small box (maybe a graphics card box, or something like that), and as it is not a new item we shouldn't have to pay any taxes.
I can get an avertv cardbus that captures great for less than 60$, but I'd prefer to have it inside..

It sounds like you would want to buy the TV module by itself. Unfortunately I want to sell the whole laptop. If you need help or have questions just on the TV module you can post your questions in the Sager forum for 8890"s. I'm sure it would be answered quickly.
