Hi fellows,
I'm new to this forum and am about to purchase my first Sager 9880. I was wondering though, if I were to purchase it configured with one SATA drive, can I plug in my existing ATA drive (Hitachi 80GB 5400RPM ATA-6 i think) drive in the second drive bay? Or must both the drives be either ATA or Serial ATA? I'm not gonna be using any RAID configurations. I just wanna know if I can plug in my existing drive into the system, should I order it with a SATA one as the first drive. And also, how would this work? As I saw in the review thread that the drives are stacked in a bracket with the relevant interfaces (either SATA or PATA). Or are there TWO drive brackets in the system?
Also, is the optional BlueTooth module BT V1.1 or 1.2? And does it use WIDCOMM or Microsoft's native (crappy) drivers? If WIDCOMM, any idea which version?
Thanks in advance!
