There are alot of products out there designed for laptop screens only. I use some packaged wipes from the local computer store. Lot of threads about this subject so just do a search on it.
I have found that dust likes to cling to computer screens and a LCD is no different. One thing I do that I have yet to see anyone mention is that I have a small feather duster I keep handy at my desk. Once a day I give it a quick dusting to brush off the stray dust and ocassional animal hair that shows up (we have a dog & 2 cats). As silly as it sounds it really does help keep the screen free of dust and hair thats always seems to float around in the air. Just be sure to use a feather duster that wont scratch the screen. I also try to keep my laptop lid closed when not using it. Thats a big help.
For the heavier cleaning you can get some prepackaged wipes. Some people use the fine cloth that is used to clean reading glasses. I have heard some people use Kleenix. Definetly dont want anything abrassive. The LCD or laptop manufacturer should have it listed somewhere whats best to use to clean the screen. Just read through all the manuals.
Monster ScreenClean works very well. It comes with its own Microfiber cloth. It takes very little to work very well. I also repels dust. My house is filled with it. I never have any on the screen. The only drawback is cost. It will last a long time.
