Media Button Colors

Is there any way to change the colors of the media buttons on the front of the XPS2 or to keep them on instead of only when you push a button? Also, how do you make the play button open WMP? Thanks in advance.

You can't change the colors of the media buttons and they will only come on when you push a button, you can't change that either. To make the buttons open up Windows Media Player (God knows why you would use a player like that , not really, everyone has their choice media player) you have to edit the registry. Search the forums and you will pull up a couple threads. The only problem I had is that the instructions posted were a little confusing and I didn't really understand what to do.

no, you cant change the color. Search around, theres a thread on making the play button launch whatever you want. And no, theres no way to make them stay on. But anyone can feel free to correct me if im wrong.

The media button color is from the color of the plastic that the buttons themselves are.
They are all part of one casting of blue plastic, and they are painted silver (or somehow electrochromed).
The LEDs behind the buttons are actually blue as well.
