All this time i was trying to convince myself that i can use a desktop but no darn no, I am just not a desktop guy since I left my last desktop 4 years ago. Well I have decided to sell this desktop that i built like a month ago, specs are below. I will not write a price, make your best offer! but of course there's a price that I won't sell under !
for trades I Am looking for a Insprion 9300 level laptop or ASUS or SONY, but no hp or compaq or gateway or old sagers!

Specs;
NOTE: All hardware components are RETAIL, and I still have the boxes, this system newly built, roughly 25 days old!!!

The Hardware -
Pentium D 830 Dual Core 3.0GHz (highly overclockable)
Corsair XMS2 512MB DDR2 800MHz PC2 6400 (latest ram from corsair)
ASUS P5WD2 Premium Intel 955X Chipset (the latest chipset)
ASUS EN7800GTX 256MB GDDR3 PCI-e (latest graphic solution)
ASUS Black IDE DVD+-RW 16X w/DL
ASUS VENTO 3600 Case (the pic below)
ANTEC 500W Power Supply
WD Caviar 200GB 7200rpm HDD
Windows XP Professional

Just for the record system gets 7000 3DMARK05 score if it means something for you with almost no overclocking

I have an 15" Sony LCD SDM-X53 however it has 7 to 8 dead pixels on it. I will just send it for free of charge! To be honestly this dead pixels are not really annoying! I bought this monitor for $50 like 10 days ago, works cool!

I know. Ive sold plenty of stuff here and I have 2 red dots. I think the more red dots you have, the more trustable you are.

red dots are negative feedback. Not necessarily for selling items but for comments made on towards posts/threads. I was merely joking.

I kinda doubt about the 7k score on 3dmark for this machine. specially the cpu at stock speeds.

I got 6900 3dmark05 with no cpu overclocking, you can get higher if you do overclock the cpu it can go up to 4.2ghz i guess 4.0ghz is guaranteed with air 4.2 or more with liquid cooling. but remember this 3dmark05 is not everything that matters!

Pentium D's don't overclock very well they don't go past 3.6 Ghz with air. You might be refering to the Pentium 6XX series. I was going to go for that option but opted for a 630 and it does 4ghz. I'll believe you if you post some screenshots of your Pentium 830 doing 4Ghz. Otherwise is not possible. Just check Hardforum or OCforums.

nope my friend hit 4011mhz with air (he has a xp 120 air cooler) and yea it hit 4011mhz

Ds overclocks just fine, even if you use a liquid cooler you WILL pass 4.2ghz, I've seen people doing this

my friend from OC forums did THIS ( ON AIR)
this speed was achived by using asus p5wd2 mobo and pentium d 830 3.0ghz cpu with xp 120 fan heatsink


another friend from OC forums did this (ON AIR)
motherboard = asus p5wd2 cpu = pentium d 830
