I own an IBM T42 and I just upgraded it to 1.5g ram and it has an 1.86 processor and I am happy with this notebook all the way, it is nice and light and I find myself using it more and more lately, and I got it bran new in the box for a INSANE price from a freind. But the only thing is it has a 40gb 42k HD and it takes FOREVER for windows to load as I am used to my Asus with a 2ghz processor, 2gb ram and 72k 60GB HDD....So my question is will an internal HD upgrade speed up the system boot time? If so can someone point me to a link of a good place to get a nice HD for this so I make sure I am getting the correct one? I would preffer a 72k + speed and atleast 60gb of space....I would preffer to buy from a good vendor such as buy.com or newegg so if you can find one on one of those sites that will fit my notebook It would help me out alot....Thanks alot...
