Now back to the topic.

Noise issue: Only while burning a CD/DVD the the CD/DVD rom is kind of noise, but not bad enough to bother be. No other noise in mine

Battery: 3:40h just typing in Word (note, i have it underclocked)

My fan is somewhat audible most of the time...but it doesn't bother me. My desktop could be heard like 100ft away from it. I did a small undervolt and with general use it says around 3:20h. Only issue is I can't get the vic card to run at normal clocks while on battery power.

Try using the ATI Catalyst Control Center. It actually allows you to downclock the video card for battery or AC power.

When it's installed it just errors at startup.
Use the omega drivers. It will give you the powerplay features which should allow for full clock speed while gaming on battery life.

I had the same thing and it turned out I needed to install microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 or higher. You could try that.
