How good is the paint on the cover of the computer. Does it get scratched easy
also does the warranty cover accentual damage?

On the silver the top is not paint. It is magnesium alloy. I don't know about the blue or green cases, but they look like they have paint on them. The top does scratch easily. It won't scratch if you are careful or you keep it at one place all the time. One thing to know is to never carry anything on top of it and it shouldn't scratch. This is from experience. I have one scratch on it but I can't really notice it because The texture of the top of the case blends it in.

im going to get the silver one, and I'll try my best to keep it clean and not messed up. Also on my other labtop I use these Anit static wipes on the case and screen. Those whips will be fine for the AW computer right?

What do you use to keep it clean

Well I only use a damp/moist cloth to clean it like the manual says. Then I dry it off with a dry cloth if needed.

I don't know about anti-static wipes because I never use them. I've never seen a LCD screen with static.

It's pretty tuff paint, I travel with mine and no airport security thug has damaged it yet.

Sorry to break it down but the Silver is indeed painted on. Magnesium alloy doesnt have that silver metallic speckle type look. I'd hate to tell you to scratch it to find out ).

I had the silver and now they cyborg green. The paint job on the green is like that of a new car. Hard glossy and sweet. I would say that jewelry and rings are less likely to scratch the green one by far. I wish they had the silver one in a high gloss. I gots to take some pics again.
