HOT Deal of the Year !!!!! ACT NOW!!!

This is the same deal I got on Wednesday. I got on this as soon as it was Posted on the Front page of Anandtech, and it was gone within an hour or two. I was just looking in their Hot Deals forum and its back on, but I guerentee it won't last so ACT FAST

Just click next to the motherboard and add this to your cart. $399 for a 7800 GT and an SLI Motherboard ($139 value), along with a $40 rebate making it $359 total. And if you don't know, eVGA's 7800 is one of the best. Factory Overclocked to 445 from 400 core, and 1.07 from 1.00 Memory.

Review on the Motherboard right here. The eVGA is just a rebranded Jetway.

the eVGA is decent? those boards have been poor for so long I don't even consider them anymore. I guess i have some catching up to do on desktop boards, i've been an MSI freak for so long.

Jetway too, since when do they do anything right? jeez. i guess i should stick to laptops.

BFG is the way to go for video cards.

Your talking about motherboards or video cards?

Their video cards have always been good. Right now BFG and eVGA are by far the best there are. Both have Lifetime warranties, both have the best factory overclocks. Both have the best cooling, this eVGA runs cool with everything I've read. Read the reviews at Newegg, some guy was able to try all the brands (someone he knows runs a shop) and he said the eVGA was better then the BFG even. Read this review too, runs at 46 degrees idle, which is really low. And overclocks even further.

As for their motherboards, well this is their first motherboard they've ever come out with so I don't see how you can judge it. Not to mention it isn't their motherboard, its a Jetway. Try reading the AnandTech review I posted and also read other reviews around the net. Nothing but good things.

eVGA is every bit as good as BFG. Although I do agree with you, eVGA is on that same level.

I agree with you as far as Jetway goes, but if you read around - people have nothing but good things to say about this motherboard. Companies change a lot, DFI used to suck if you remember and Asus used to be the king. I built a system for a friend with an Asus board last year and I'll never buy another Asus board again. Even if the motherboard only lasts a year, and dies right after the warranty is up - its still the deal of the century. Especially if the things in the Anandtech review turn out to be true, this thing Overclocks every bit as good and as stable as the DFI. I should be able to let you know for sure early next week.

Here is the essence of the AnandTech review, for any who might be too lazy to click on the link I gave.

This deal will not last, I can promise you that.

Surprises are one of the things that can turn the routine of testing computer components into a few moments of excitement. We confess that we were totally surprised to find the Jetway at least the equal of any enthusiast AMD 939 board that we have tested. Who would have even considered before this review that the Jetway 939GT4-SLI-G would benchmark in the same league as the top 939 boards that we have tested, and overclock in the same league as the legendary DFI LANParty nF4 SLI. But benchmarks are benchmarks and the Jetway equaled the best Socket 939 boards we have tested, and then went on to top performance in stock ratio overclocking and reduced ratio overclocking.

There is a lot to like about the Jetway 939GT4-SLI, starting with a near ideal board layout. There is also the elegant simplicity of the 3 PCIe video slots with a dedicated x16 single video slot and an additional pair of x8 Dual/SLI video slots. The 3 slots are not overkill or a waste of board space, since even the most basic SLI board uses 3 slot spaces for the SLI video slots. The Jetway uses the same space, but the 3 dedicated slots do away with any need at all for paddles, jumpers, or switches for SLI. This simplicity probably contributes to the excellent performance that we found with the Jetway in these tests.

Add to this: processor voltages to 1.9V, memory voltage to 3.25V, a wide 200 to 400 range for CPU clock, and a complete range of memory adjustments and chipset/LDT voltages, and you have the legitimate makings of an AMD enthusiast board. The diagnostic LEDs and momentary switches are just the icing on the enthusiast cake. We've seen other boards all decked out with everything but performance, but that is certainly not the case with this Jetway - it performed as well in all our tests as we hoped that it would. Our only real complaint is that the tested BIOS did not implement the added memory ratios (433, 466, 500, 533) available with the Rev. E Athlon64 processors. However, we have asked Jetway for an updated BIOS to fix this oversight.

Some will be screaming and flaming with our recommendation here, but at a $129 web price, you should really include this Jetway on your short shopping list for Socket 939 AMD enthusiast motherboards. This Jetway delivers great value and performs very well, no matter how you measure the performance. It's nice to see a real surprise once in a while, and this Jetway will open the eyes of any buyer who approaches it with an open mind.

A great job, Jetway, and we hope that you can really get behind this board with the kind of support that it deserves. We highly recommend the 939GT4-SLI to both the non-overclocking AMD user and the AMD Enthusiast looking to reach new heights in overclocking with their new Athlon 64.

I've never had a problem with either - I just like BFG more

Came and went on me... Pump this up when it comes around again, otherwise I'm getting a lesser graphics card on my cheapo system.

It is currently just the 7800GT for $359 after rebate. No mobo.
