Says it won't arrive till 9/22 which sucks because I got class at the crack of dawn and go straight to work after that till 8p.m.

Just a few questions, is it recommended that I download all the newest drivers and burn them on a disk before the system gets here so I can just load it up with all those drivers?
Any other things I should do to it before I really start using it. I remember someone mentioning putting different thermal paste on the CPU but would the void the warranty?
I have these two USB cables called Adaptoids that let you connect N64 controllers to a computer. They are pretty sweet, but how safe will they be to both use with only a 220 watt powersuppy? I don't want to kill the beast.
Cooling, is elevating the back enough or should I invest in a laptop cooler?
What is the best DVD software to run movies with? I was looking at WinDVD 7 Platinum. Does the lappy get pretty hot running movies or is it mainly just during games?
I got a bluetooth microsoft mouse/keyboard combo to use during long LAN sessions for comfort. I've heard the mouse has a bad DPI response or something, seems fine in games but can anyone elaborate on this that might have more experience.

Thank you
