I'd search the threads to see if this problem has already been addressed, but I don't really know what it's called...
Twice in the past week, I would move my mouse or whatever to get my 8790's screen to turn back on after leaving it for awhile. When it turned on the screen would not be "flickering," per se, but what I would normally see on my screen would be repeating itself at the rate of the refresh rate--one on top of the other. Kind of reminds me when the film is running too slowly on a movie screen and you can see the frames zipping by.
Restarting solves the problem just fine. No weird noises, nothing out of the ordinary except I can't make out a thing on my screen. It didn't bother me the first time, but now that it's happened a second time, I was wondering if maybe this calls for some preventative maitenance.
Any other 8790's or other Sager models have this problem?
