Video card over heating

Thread Starter
I've had my AW Area 51 7700 for two and half months now and I'm starting to see a problem with the video card over heating. I've done everything possible to keep things cool. I have a Cool Breeze Laptop cooler under my laptop and I keep my room below 75 degrees. You can hang meat in my room. I’ve sent AW support a support request and the only thing they did was recommend what I’ve already did. “Proper ventilation” since then they haven’t written back. So I guess they are waiting for my card to burn up before providing additional help. Or waiting for the warranty to run out, also just incase some one is think that I over clocked the CPU or the GPU think again everything is stock as it came from the AW warehouse.

SO FOR FYI AW AFTER SALES SUPPORT SUCKS!

What symptoms are you having? I mean if the system is not performing as it should then they have to fix it, even if its not 100% dead.

Try to relax and be calm, I've found that you get more help that way.

BTW, The system should run and be stable with only the stock fans, additional cooling might be a good idea but it should not be required for the system to be stable.

Try posting the problems that you are having, maybe its a driver issue or something else? I know there are A.W. reps who sometimes read these boards and they do help people.

Good Luck.
