Hi all -
First let me say my new z70va lappy kicks ass and it is everything I expected. But I have a couple MINOR issues which would be cool if I could get them resolved and make this laptop 100% perfect.
1) Sometimes when I switch from AC to battery or vice versa while the machine is running (basically just pull the plug), the computer locks up.
2) I don't think anyone will know exactly what's wrong with this, but maybe have some type of answer in general. When I try to run warcraft 3, the machine locks up everytime. The screen turns black and everything just stops. Most likly a video driver issue, but I've tried the stock drivers as well as the latest catalyst drivers and machine still locks up with both of them. Not sure what the issue is. This is the first game I tried and hope it doesn't happen on others. 3dMark05 runs perfect so don't think it will be an issue on newer games. But is there something I need to turn off in openGL or direct3d which cause issues with older games? Any ideas?
I ran into both these last night and haven't had a ton of time to look into, but figured I'd try here first as probably 90% of the people who post here know more about laptops than I do.
Thanks for the help!
