rw, ive heard people having problems with the headphones on this thing. can you confirm? they say that sound quality through hte headphone port sounds like ass. anyway, this is a great deal and i think im going to buy me one, especially since they are brand new and i dont have to pay taxes.

M20. Like its sister the D610 it is a generation newer. Dell have incorporated many significant improvement in the D610/M20 line, both in construction and performance. Based on quite a different chipset: better gpu, better and spill-proof keyboard, HD impact resistance, better heat management. See these two comparative reviews for starters:
600M: http://www.notebookreview.com/defaul...+Inspiron+600m.
M20: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=2353.
The new Latitude and Precision line are class machines.

Yes it has the 10/100/1000 onboard however it is missing the wireless option.

I purchased an OEM Intel A/B/G wireless card from newegg for 32.00.

I just got mine two days ago, I'll put out some screenshots but it is extremely nice. The speakers were ok, for my puroses anyway - just listening to light music. I haven't tried the headphones yet, I'll leave that up to rw. I would definately recommend it. It comes brand new and even has the win xp pro disk...
