I am considering the 6000d but wanted to know which card is better, The Geforce in my desktop(see sig) or the Mobility Radeon x300 128mb. Any comments

It's hard to comapre desktop and laptop graphics cards, but judging from some basic searching, they seem around the same speed.

MitchellO, how do you like your 8600? I will soon be starting a thread about laptops compared to the 8600. If you wanted another Dell laptop with the same performance as the 8600, which one would you get?

I would probably go with the i6000d. Its is similar in the performance range of the i8600, but has the updated Sonoma processor, so it should be better.

The i8600 was an awesome laptop
