Hi,

Has anyone had any luck running XP Pro on a TravelMate 340T and changing out the 6.4GB HDD with a 40GB HDD? My Pro-Star P4 computer is in for a motherboard replacement, and I decided to put my Pro-Star's HDD into the Acer, but the Acer will not recognize the HDD. In BIOS it shows a different drive size and serial number, but the size is not correct. When the machine tries to boot, it gives me blue screens with error messages 0x000007B, 0xF9E5528, 0xC000034, 0x0000000. I've looked at Acer's site, at the Win XP forums, and so far no workable solution.
