I have three Toshibas, They're not bad.
Bought them because at the time, because I could get them at cost and get 50% off the extended warranty since the company I worked for sold them.
As har as the hardware, they at at par with any other name-brand laptop that is sold in a large retail store; that said, all name brand computers sold in a large retail store will have very old GPUs when compared to what you can get with the boutique systems. The cheaper systems will have really slow hard drives.
Now my next system, even though I can now get this discount on other name brands is going to be a Dell or a Clevo.... leaning hard toward Clevo. I can get the discount since a family member works in a large chain, but Dell isn't sold there and neither is clevo.
