80 degrees plus normal?

Well, for a new laptop anyway. My battlefield 2 keeps on freezing on me after about half an hour of play. I was thinking it was ram but ramtest didn't give me any errors, so my second is guess is overheating. mobilemeter is giving me a reading of around 80 degrees when I alt tab after about 5 minutes of game play. Is this normal??

which machine do you have? specs?

1.86Ghz Pentium M
GeForce 6600 Go 128MB PCI-E
1.5G of RAM (Kingston + Hyniex)

MobileMeter shows that it's running at 57 degrees when I have nothing running.
