Cam Not Working

Hi, for some reason the webcam on my 8790 isn't showing up at all. Its nowhere to be found in the device manager, and after i install the drivers and try to run the capture program it gives me a "no device present" message. I know that i DID disable it at one point or another, but i think that was on a previous install of windows, that wouldn't make it disapear, would it? Does anyone have any ideas?

I have two 3880s and one of them has the exact same issue. Did the above suggestion solve your problem?

If that does not work try the following. I found this on another post on this forum:

you gotta enable the webcam first in order to use it. I believe it is the FN+8 to activate it. I had the same problem as you at first but after i activated it, it worked.
I have not tried either of these since the laptop in question is my wives and she has it right now.

OK... I can confirm this... It was indeed the fn+F8 problem. Sager should label ALL its FN keys. It is not even in the manual.
