WiFi indicator

I'm at a hotel with wireless access. At bootup the wifi indicator is lit and everything is fine. But whenever the connection is dropped, the indicator goes off but never comes back on again even after connection is restored. Won't come back on until reboot or waking up from hibernate. Is this a common bug?

Just curious. I'm just wondering if this happens anywhere period, not just at this hotel.

i think this is a problem with dell laptops. my 6000 does that as well. indicator off but wifi connected and this happens after stanby for me.

turn your wireless off and on (Fn + F2), the LED should turn back on.
