Burning .avi to DVD... and more

post #1 of 3

First off, what would be best to use to burn a .avi file to a DVD to be able to be played on a normal dvd player?

That's my first Q, I got one more...

If I have multipe (3) .avi files (700mb each) how can I burn them all to one DVD, so I can watch in it my dvd player? Is that possible and how would I do that?

Thanks!

There are softwares (Studio, from Pinnacle; Premiere, from Adobe etc.) that will do that easily for you. I capture lots of .avi files, edit and merge then to finally add menus and titles (just simple ones that will do the job), to finally burn the DVDs. My only complain goes to Studio, which is very, very buggy, and I lost the count of how many times I waited 1-2 hours rendering a DVD to end with an error on the program...

@JUST_BLAZE: great advice....
