Hi, I was just wondering if anyone here is one of the unfortunate who has to live with a stuck pixel on their screen?

Here's a free software to check if you have one (or many):

I realized yesterday (one month after buying my notebook computer brand new) that I have a stuck dark red pixel on the bottom left corner. Thank God it's near the edge of the screen, it's very tiny (one of the 1280x768 pixels on a 10.4" screen), and doesn't show up on red, blue, and black backgrounds. Yes, I tried massaging it with a Q-tip but it doesn't work. Oh well.

I have a little mpeg 4 movie file that is called the "Dead pixel fixer". It was originally made for the Sony PSP but you can play it in quicktime. You can play it in a small window over the stuck pixel or full screen. It cycles through all the colors at a rapid pace and supposedly fixes dead pixels 60% of the time. Best buy has a dvd version of it for their LCD televisions. You are supposed to run it for 2-3 hours, but for the stubborn ones you can run it overnight. If you want it, let me know and I can email it to you.
