Total Ownage - Page 2

The most noticeable different between 1080i and 720p is the way they handle fast moving images on-screen. 1080i has more lines of resolution but it's an interlaced signal. 720p on the other hand has less lines of resolution but is progressive and therefore displays fast moving images much better. Your image ouput from you notebook will look great with a HDTV on either resolution setting.

Currently I'm not using powerstrip because I haven't had a need to. I don't care about benchmark scores unless they impact me in some way and none of the games I've played so far have warranted overclocking. They have all played flawless with every setting maxed out to the fullest!

"We are not worthy to be in your presence...."

What a beast. Congrats man. I am waiting a while before lashing out on a set like that. I figure they will go up in specs and come down in price. Besides I haven't got anywhere to put it .

First off, Anyone who told you that Nvidia is not good for Next gen games is smoking crack.

Their just wannabe Band wagon gamers that didnt do any research about anything in there life most likely.

Nvidia is way better then ati and has always been, and will still remain better then ati.

I realized ATI is the way to go with video

... Im sorry your confused.. i feel sorry for you..

This fueding over the, "My video card is better than yours" gets tiresome after while. If either of you would have actually researched this you would have found that they both run at about... you guessed it, the same. One card performs better in one game and vice versa. I honestly can't notice a 1-2 fps difference in my games so it doesnt really matter to me.

Personally I went with the NVIDIA simply because it would allow me to recieve my laptop in the least amount of time since the RADEON was on limited availability.

Nice setup man - I have a 42" plasma monitor hooked up to my laptop. Only thing I don't like about it is you can only have a regular resolution, then change the aspect ratio on the monitor if you want widescreen. It looks great though, doesn't looked stretched like I thought it would.
