Best Bluetooth option for T43?

Hey all,

I just purchased a new ThinkPad T43 (2687-DDU but I threw in another gig of DDR2) and am now upset that I didn't get the internal Bluetooth option. I really don't want to have a stupid dongle or antenna sticking out of my case. I'd love to buy something that I keep in the laptop at all times.

Is there any way to get Bluetooth installed after the fact? Or, do any Bluetooth peripherals exist with a flat antenna (like a PC Card with no protrusion)?

You can replaced your modem-only CDC (Communications Daughter Card) with one that includes bluetooth. You'll need a bluetooth antenna, which may or may not be installed already. The CDC might have a u.fl antenna connector, search ebay for "mini-pci antenna" and you'll see several.

Yes, you can go to thinkwiki to see the BMDC-3 for T43. I have tried the retail of IBM. Totally cost $82 including tax and shipping fee. I don't whether you must buy the bluetooth antenna for T43. But you must wait for 2-4 weeks.
