Hi, i just curious which version of windows XP Pro that's installed on your Ferrari right now ?
the XP Pro 32 bit?
The XP Pro 64 ?
Or Both ??

Currently I run Win XP Pro 32 bit and Linux. 64 bit has too few applications and there might be driver issues. I might switch once some1 has written a guide for Ferrari's transition from 32 bit to 64 bit.

XP64, although I have a seperate 10gb XP32 drive for when traveling, since MS doesn't have x64 drivers for their GPS yet.

I just received my F4005 on Friday
came with XP Pro, the 32-bit version
I had no option (damn Acer) to order it with the 64-bit version
Is there any way I can exchange this older version for the newer one, either with Acer or MS?

Doubtfull since the "Technology Advancement" program has ended.

You're best bet will probably be to buy an OEM copy outright. That is, if a retailer will sell it to you without a hardware purchase, which they are not supposed to.
