The ATI MR9800 will install fine on a 9100.

Yep, I'm positive that the 9800 will drop right into my 9100, and function perfectly. many members here have done it before! Shoot me a PM Thanks

The video card is brand new ... and it will fit into this laptop perfectly..the XPS and the 9100 were truely one in the same as most of you know. Although I cannot vouch for the condition of the laptop itself personally because I am a couple of thousand miles away , He did send me the Money Order as promised and I sent him the video card with next day air service. 1,000 for this laptop WITH the brand new video card is a pretty price...thats a LOT of gaming horsepower for the buck.

Thanks alot for the post shadow!!!

The laptop is in mint condition, been working on getting some pictures. Been kind of tough to get a digital camera to use! But I will eventually!

I appreciate it very much again Shadow, and if you ever need to use me as a positive reference, let me know - consider it done!

PS: I haven't even picked up the video card from my girlfriend's house yet, went out with the guys the past two nights. I'll probably install the card tomorrow!
