F4005 laptop sleeve?

Thread Starter
I friend of mine has a neat little neoprene case for his much-smaller laptop. I've been looking for one for my new F4005, but can't seem to find one that's a close enough fit... I can get it to fit inside most designed for 17" laptops, but it's loose in there, hoping for a much tighter fit...
I did buy a Swiss gear backpack that can fit a 17" laptop, so fitting my F4005 with a neoprene case in that pack should be ok ...

Any recommendation? Someone out there must have a case for this sweet laptop!

Widescreen 15 inch notebook sleeve is harder to find. I got one very quickly because I dislike the bright red, I don't like to receive too much attention, so I get myself a black one.

Try sumdex

I don't work for it, just happen to get one from shopping.

Over the years I've bought neoprene sleeves for a IBM 600e, Acer Ferrari 3400 and
Acer Ferrari 4000 from:

Each is built exactly to the laptop's dimensions. Can even get it in red!

that's an interesting idea but i would expect the soft holder to block air flow to the cooling system of the laptop. Is the laptop suppose to be used while it's in the holder or do you take it out to use?

Okay,

You need to get yourself a Shinza Zeroshock. I have a 15" Large size and it fits very well actually. Yes, length wise it is a very snug fit and you have to oh so slightly stretch the sleeve to zip it up, but this is actually a good thing. First of all, since the fit is tight that means the laptop will not move around in the sleeve at all. The sleeve is also wider from front to back than the Ferrari by about an inch, again a good thing. Why you ask? Well, the extra inch acts like a handle and since the Zeroshock is made of some very good neoprene stuff it molds to your hand and makes for a great handle. The sleeve is well made and I believe it is guaranteed to protect you laptop from small impacts. I really like mine and it is not over priced like all the other sleeve's out there. If you want pics just PM me and I will try and post some. Also, I just bought a Booq BP3 backpack and I am going to put up a review very soon (it is a great bag by the way).
