Sentia HD Died

Well, I should have recognized the signs. At first, when booting up, it would sometimes error saying "Disk Read Error" or something of that nature. After a few tries, however, it usually booted up.
Now, it no longer boots up. After it tries to load Windows, it gives me a blue screen of death with the following error:

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

Not a good sign. I just tried to chat with tech support, but apparently they aren't open on Tuesdays? Tried calling, there was no option for tech support on the menu.

Now I've been very happy with my Sentia up until this point. So any help is appreciated.

Well, here's my plan. I'm getting Knoppix right now to get anything off there that I need (I have some notes from class I *could* lose, but I'd rather not).

After that, I'm going to try the respawn CD. I'd also try a disk dianostics test, but I don't have a floppy.

Do you have an antivirus? (Norton is the best by far) What about spyware sweepers? (Webroot owns all by far!!!) and what about a windows recovery disk? Anything less and your begging for a laptop crash...
Truth/Fact: Today's pc's/laptops are prime targets of spyware and viruses... if you don't spend the $$$ in protection then your begging to get X_X Whats the point in spending $2000-$12000 on a computer if your leaving it at the mercy of viruses and spyware... i learned that the hard way *IBM R31 from school gathering dust in the corner of my desk* And don't think all the free software helps... put it this way... you don't use water to run your car (usualy/hopefully lol) you use gasoline...

Respawning is the best thing you can do.... GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Seems all good now. Maybe it was a virus? I don't use it nearly as much as my desktop and I never have problems with it

I don't know... I may. It has me worried with that error. So far, nothing seems out of the ordinary, though, with the reformat.

Got the error again, but this is being posted from the sentia, so it's working, but if it happens again, I'll be calling. Just basically posting for a record for myself
