Video Cards

Buiding a new 3.0 system with 1g Memory, Now, i need a good video card, of course i like the 9800 ati, but 450.00 is a little much if you know what i mean! So i need to know what you guys would use at a good price. I'm thinking of 150.00 to 250.00 is a good ballpark and of course i like to play games, sometimes! So any imput would be nice. Thanks

I'd get a Radeon 9600XT, or buy a used 9700Pro.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking too, but if you want the latest over a used card the 9600XT is still a good deal.

I'd go for a 9700 if you can track one down. The Powercolor is among the cheapest $$ otherwise a 9500 Pro would be my second take.

Or you could go with nVidia and get a 5600 Ultra.
