5600 Sager and Acessories

Why can't I find any info on my 5600P? this is the only info i can find on my laptop yet there are no accessories available for it alone. Only models such as the 5650 5660 and such. Is there a way besides the info sent with the laptop to find out if its something more than the 5600P? also why does my computer burn up anytime is on? I mean in like 5 minutes you can fry an egg on the top of it. It burns intensely hot all around the computer including top bottom mousepad pcmcia slot (it feels like it burns my cards) keys everything. The reason for the info is I want to get a new primary battery i have the secondary but its for my secondary slot. I think i might want to also get another charger since mine was in a bad position for a while and since I didn't notice it the cord into the charger started slipping out i am worried it could turn into a lose connection. Thanks Everybody. Also do you have pics of the new 8887 in the chameleon style or whatever it is it comes in?

the 5660P might just be a variation of the 5660, but don't quote me on it.

The heat problem is abnormal; perhaps your fans stopped working?

He said 5600P though, not 5660P. So I think it's actually an earlier model.

Cheers.

Yeah, it's a legacy model, not made any more by sager I don't think. I imagine it gets hot because it may have been before the northwood processor? Or something else is wrong, lol, but heat is relative. The keyboard gets warm on the 8886, but it doesn't get so hot you can fry an egg on it, lol. My own lappy, the dell-like one, gets a hot keyboard when gaming for a long time... So it's not just Sagers, lol. It's a form of heat dissipation.

I never noticed it before,

But you are right, Bush does bear an uncanny simularity to Pinky.

As for the 5600, I would try contacting Sager directly, to see if they still produce accessories, and what resellers, if any, might carry these. As for the heat, Beebs might be on to something, or else it is a fan problem. Good luck.
