Well it's a new version of PCMark so I'm assuming it's at least a little different. You have to install Microsoft Media Encoder 9 and Media Player 9 so it definitely tests different things than the previous version of PCMark.

You have to have Microsoft Media Encoder 9 installed for all of the tests to run. You can download it free from Microsoft's web site.

After that it was install and run for me. To run all of the tests you have to pay the $19.95 licensing fee.

PCMark04 score of 3721 (with all tray apps & WLAN disabled; drivers, etc: http://sager.mikhailmarkin.com).

3DMark03 score stayed the same at approx 2950.

Score: 4440

I only scored 4440

Telling by my score and the benches conducted, PCMark04's score is based primarily on the performance of the CPU; mine is only 2.4GHz and scored accordingly.

I got 4350 or something like that with the same system as nelamvr6, except I have the 3.0ghz processor and 5400RPM drive.
Scratch that thought: just got 4441.. Isn't that only 100 points less than with the 3.2 processor?
Really depends on how you run the bench. If you run the system with the least number of background apps possible, your result will improve by about 100 at least. Thats what happened with mine.
