Laptop Friendly DVD viewing/burngin software???

Can anyone give me any suggestions as to a DVD viewing, burning program

I had Nero for my CD burning, but its an older version and I am new to the world of DVD burning which is now possible with my incredible new Asus Z70Va

BitTorrent is your friend.

Find Roxio Media Creator for burning, and Media Player Classic for viewing. The viewer even supports subtitles.
