Major iTunes CD importing problems

hey everyone,

ive had my 9860 for a while now (since december), and it has only started doing this after i updated my iTunes. when ever i open itunes with an audio cd in the drive, it always trys to access the online song database, but then crashes. anyone know whats going on? even if i start iTunes with out a cd in the drive, when i put one in, it crashes. ive tried to uninstall it, and re-install the last version, but no luck.

as for specs, i have the dvd +-rw on the top and the dvd/cdrw on the bottom. ive tried BOTH the drives, and it does the same thing

wtf is going on

sometimes iTunes gets funky. I had a similar, but not same problem, and to fix it, I did this...

uninstall iTunes.

clean out your registry of all apple and iTunes related keys / entries (use find -> "keyword" in the registry editor).

restart

d/l the latest itunes and reinstall.
