I have a m6809 and am very happy with it I was getting heat issues but thanks to the advice I recieved from these forums I upgraded to 2 x512 ram and got a lappy cooler and it works fine..THX.. However I use this laptop probably 12-16 hrs a day I use it all day at work and then I game on it when I get home and 3d model in my spare time. I have noticed the screen flickers as if the brightness is shifting settingsd really fast. and it makes it look like its flickering this just started a few days ago.. Am I using my laptop to much ? is it burning out I just took a job in New Zealand and am in the northland right now. I have used a second moniter and that picture is fine so the G-card is probably ok I dont want to mess with the drivers or format as I have a gut feeling its a hardware issue is there a utility or anything I could do to help this I cant even spend over an hour on it without getting a headache.. (warrenty is up as well so thats not an optioon)

Yeah. I originally only crimped the one end that goes to the FL driver but i soon got it back. So I crimped both ends and no longer have the flicker. It's been about two months since I fixed it. Enjoy.
