the current satisfied percentage (top 2 responses) is 64%, which puts the Z70va at a similar satisfaction rating to the Acer 8100 when smilepak polled that. (the Z71v is currently at about 77% satisfied )

Well, I don't want the Z70A because I like higher resolution. But I am torn between the Z70V and the Z70Va. Its only a hundred dollar difference, but I need a Dual layer for my desktop. I am leaning for to the z70V because I am not a gamer and have no plans on being one.

I just wanted to remind people. The satisfied/dissatisfied % you see here in a real world model is absolutely useless. It can be 50/50 for all i care and not represent anywhere near the real numbers. I would say 98% are satisfied to extremely satisfied while 2% are not very satisfied or extremely dissatisfied. You have to keep in mind who is voting here....the same people who came to these parts becuase they were already picky and wanted something perfect. Also take into account that most of the readers for this poll are not those that bought the notebook and had nothing bad to say, its exactly the opposite. If this was anywhere near reality i would be packing on my way to mexico. But honestly the product would have been taken down from most dealers websites by now becuase a return rate of more then 1% is TOOOO much. As i see in this thead out of some 20 votes about 4 or so already returned it? This will just scare people rather then give a true representation of the product. In case anyone was wondering what this really means, the poll in this thread shows the product is pretty bad quality. True or not you have to read between the lines and consider everything i just said.

I'm comparing it to other polls on this website. Since, as you pointed out, NBF members can be more picky than most, a "no problems" rating of 70% or better on this site is very good. The highest recent rating I've seen for a notebook on this site is 85%, so I'd say 55-65% is good, 65-75% is great, and 75%+ is exceptional, based on what I've seen here. I'm sure all told, these numbers do not even approximate doing justice to the complete numbers, but if you take them in perspective with the rest of the site, then they provide a good picture of the overall satisfaction.
