ok i recieved my 2006 Boa.XL today and i really like it. before i bought it i had a very hard time finding any information on it. so i decided to write up a little review for the rest of you, after i recieve my XPS2 i will writeup a new review comparing the 2006 Boa.XL, the Kensington Sport, and Dells XPS bag. but until then i will use my 6000D. I really like the overall look of the bag, it looks professional and doesnt screem "Steal Me!"

The zippers are very nice, they are rubberized and have a good feel to them. this picture also shows the hole to plug in ur MP3 player, the pocket is actually pretty big ang lined with some really soft material.

The back of the backpack is very flat but its very padded, and the straps are quite comfortable, i think there could have been a tad more padding on the straps but its still ergonomic enuf. one thing this bag does have that i ABSOLUTELY LOVE!! is the waist buckle and chest buckle. if you dont mind looking somewhat like an idiot then your back should never hurt again from carrying heavy books and a 10lb notebook, hehe. i REALLY wish i had this bag when i went to japan, i traveled ALOT when i went there and it killed my back to carry my notebook and stuff in my Kensington, even tho thats a pretty comfortable bag also.

There is a side pocket that you could put something flat in, and the pocket is actually quite large, i'd say about 2/3 of the size of the flat back.

The first front pocket is ok, i do wish it came out a little more so that it wouldnt squish some of the larger sized headphones that i have, but that would probably make the bag a little too thick, but maybe an extra inch would come in handy
one thing i like about this pocket and the second one is how far down the zippers go, most times u dont need to unzip it all the way but its nice to know u can.

The middle sectionwhere most books and such would go is actually very deep, i didnt realize how big it was until i started cramming stuff in it and it still zipped up easily. This section also has 3 pockets with flaps to put like your travel mouse, and extra battery (which the top pocket is PERFECT for!) and your ac adapter. one thing tho, because of the placement of these pockets they are a little hard to get to if that section is full with books.

Now for the notebook section. booq actually designed this pretty good, i really like it (not saying they are the first or only to have this specific design). there is a flap with 2 patches of velcro, so if your in a hurry you could throw ur notebook in and flap that closed and be on your way. otherwise there is a zipper that kinda zips down and around. Now obviously this bag was meant for a 17" notebook and i have my 15.4" 6000D in there so there is tons of room around the notebook itself but im sure that will change once i get my XPS2 in there. there is PLENTY of padding around the notebook section any blunt hit from any angle will definately keep the notebook away from harm.

Ok now for one of my favorite parts! the bottom. now most of you might not care about this but after just one day of using this thing if my favorite. when you set the bag down it doesnt fall over!! every other backpack i have had my whole life has fallen over after i set it down, i would always have to kick out the bottom and lean it against my chair or desk. this thing just stands up strait. i found myself letting go of it and quickly trying to catch it b4 it falls like i have always done, but nope it doesnt even try to fall. its made out of some harder material, booq's site prolly tells what it is, but it reminds me of my ratpad (ratpadz.com) but ruffer.

The college test. I know most of you buy notebook bags for school and need to carry alot of books and stuff with you. well this bag will definately give you enuf space to carry everything you need. These following pictures are of some of the books i put in the bag and some overall pix of it semi-full, i could have gotten ALOT more in the bag, but im too lazy to look around for some other books. i didnt take pix of all the books outside of the bag, but u can pretty much tell whats in there, take notice of the 2 thickest books,
they are buried in that middle section and i will still able to get 2 5/8" folders in there, and another folder with paper and stuff, and i still have tons of room on top of all that stuff!

I hope someone gets some use out of this review, cause i put alot of time into it. let me know if u have any questions or want a picture of something.
