Week old Ferrari 4005
Just formatted, installed XP64 and all updates from MS
Everything is snappy and zippy and quick and nice
But then today, I used Nero to copy a data dvd. From DVD to HD to DVD. The laptop was unbearably slow during the creating of the image and then the burning of the image. Once burning was done, all was fine... was checking CPU usage, and it was low, almost constantly below 10%... but switching from Nero to MSN would take 40+ seconds, slowly drawing in the MSN box. Typing was slow too, I could type a whole sentence, and then look as each letter appeared, 2-3 seconds apart.
Checked all IDE settings, made sure DMA is enabled for all... Any other advice?
