When does that come out?

i didn't expect them to change much but the video card... and they can't do that 'til the 29th. they've already got the top gaming laptop on the market, so why change something that's considered the top in the market? i'm assuming that's their philosophy on it, anyways.

i did hear that they were making a few minor adjustments to buttons and aesthetics, but i'm sure they're barely even noticeable.

the xps2 is not the best gaming lappy on the market. its the best value high-performance gaming lappy on the market, by far.

Don't expect to be able to get a 7800Go GTX on the 29th, regardless of what the damned press release said.

nevermind, i just realized that alienware doesnt have a 19x12 lcd

and is a 3.8GHz 600 series P4 faster than the 2.26GHz P-M? If it is, it can't be by much. Plus the alienwares have zippo battery life...

The Clevo D900T machines with the X800XT:PE are faster than the XPS 2, the D900K's with the FX-57/X2 4800 are also faster although I've not seen any actually delivered yet. I'm just pointing this information out, my personal preference is to the XPS 2 simply because it offers plenty of power but not at the cost of eeverything else, the noise, weight and size are all reasonable.

I'm glad the M170 is the same as the XPS 2, I don't want my machine 'replaced' already
